scoobysworkshop.com There is no such thing as “6-pack abs fast”. You cant buy 6-pack abs from an infomercial or get them from a bottle. Getting 6-pack abs is simple but takes alot of work – eat less and exercise more. This video shows you how to do both.Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn’t have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. It’s important to realize that even though your reasons for not exercising and losing weight will seem valid to you, they are in fact still excuses. I know this sounds harsh, but it is too easy to fall back on these excuses each and every time you try to lose weight and get fit. Change is hard, lets face it we all get into our own comfort zones and life is very hectic, but you need to be prepared to make some changes in your lifestyle if you want results.
“Not enough hours in the day”. Yes we all feel this one at times, however it is all about prioritising and setting yourself up for success. One of my great clients has 5 kids and works outside of the home and she manages to train 5 days a week, is fit, slim and full of good health and has decreased her stress levels significantly. How does she do it? She places herself first! She understands that if she doesn’t maintain a healthy lifestyle and give herself permission to workout and eat well then there’s no way she can do all the things required of her. She’s been willing to break some rules and ‘let it go’ in order to reclaim her life. t
We often wonder where the day went, but lets face it, we are all give the same 24 hours, so you need to decide how to best utilize those hours so that you can fit in some purposeful exercise. Could you not cut out a few hours of television?
Try not to enter into negative self-talk about exercising. Treat it like your job. You know you have to go to work, and it would drive you mad if you continuously said to yourself that you dont want to do it. So, as Nike says…”just do it”!
“Menopause is making it impossible for me to lose weight”. Yes, as we get older it is a fact that our metabolism slows down. Even more reason then to counteract this with exercise. As women, there are lot of things going on with our bodies throughout our lives, try not to use these things as an excuse, rather embrace it and work with your body to get fit and healthy.
“I don’t know what to do” Like most things in life if we don’t know how to go about it we find out! Seek out a specialist in the area of exercise and nutrition, remember they have done all the hard work for you. You no longer have to fluff around trying a different diet or a different exercise machine each week and failing miserably. If you don’t live near a gym or are not ready to go there, then why not try on-line training?
“I dont know if I can afford it” Can you afford not to? Illness is expensive! But the good news is that you dont have to join an expensive gym or buy the latest and greatest workout clothing, there are other more simpler methods of achieving your goals. You can train outdoors or in the comfort of your own home. You can join an online training program.
Are you being honest with yourself? Are the reasons you have used before truly logical? Bear in mind, you’re the only one responsible for your health and fitness. Your body reflects your lifestyle choices – what is it telling about you?

Everyone wants to know if aerobics is better than strength training or cardio better than intervals. The main question is “What is the best way to lose my belly fat?”
It would be an understatement to say I have tried them all.
I have spent, at least, 15 years of training in the gym, both for myself and sports and used laboratory research showing many exercises. I can tell you now what works best and what you should not spend time on.
Time. Do you have it? For those of you who can’t spend 90 minutes per day exercising I want to talk to you.
That’s why there is a huge disconnect between some of the information found in magazines and the ability of the reader to apply it to their lives.
We just don’t have 6-8 hours per week for exercise, nor do we need it. If you’re a triathlete, you might need that, but not someone that just wants to lose fat and gain muscle.
Having said all that, the bottom line for getting a better body is…
For warming up use your body-weight, to build muscle use strength training supersets, and then to burn fat in a short amount of time and finish your workout use interval training. This system is made so that you can be in and out of the gym in 45 minutes only 3 times per week.
You’ll do 5 minutes of bodyweight exercises to warm-up. This is a much more efficient approach than spending 5 minutes walking on a treadmill, which really doesn’t prepare you for anything except more walking on a treadmill.
Then we move into the strength training supersets, where we use two exercises performed back to back with minimum rest between each. This cuts our workout time, while still giving us maximum results. We only need 20 minutes for this, and we’ll use basic exercises, and sometimes even more bodyweight exercises, depending on the client’s goal for muscle building.
And finally, we’ll do 18 minutes of interval training. A warm-up, followed by six short intervals at the appropriate fitness level for the client, interspersed with short periods of low-intensity recovery. Finish with a cool-down. And that’s the workout. Again, about 45 minutes total.
That will be a much more effective workout than running, cycling, or a cardio machine for 45 min straight. Sure they all burn calories but they don’t build a better body.
In fact, there are a few “dark sides” to long slow cardio, including less-than-optimal results, the potential for overuse injuries, and it is an inefficient form of exercise. If you only have 30-45 minutes for your workout and you spend it all on a cardio machine, when are you going to train the rest of your muscles and sculpt a better body?
Therefore you can burn belly fat fast by combining strength training and interval training. It works and is fun in the process!
