An internal hemorrhoid is a condition comprised of veins that become swollen and inflamed inside the anus. They are mainly caused by a poor diet and decreased fiber intake. Straining also causes them as well as obesity and pregnancy. Usually diarrhea and constipation are associated with them as well.
Another common and simple hemorrhoid home remedy is the application of ice and heat to shrink the hemorrhoid and encourage it to heal. Apply ice, such as a single ice cube, to the hemorrhoid or the anal area, for at 10 minutes every day. Then apply a moist, warm towel to the anal area for up to 20 minutes. This is best done after an aggravating bowel movement that has caused pain or irritation to the hemorrhoid.
Increasing your daily fiber intake is another solution and treatment of hemorrhoid. The average american only digests ten grams of fiber a day in their diet. By increasing your fiber intake by fifteen to fourty grams you will regulate your digestive system and prevent hemorrhoids from forming. The many ways you can increase your intake is by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and grains and cereals. Make sure you increase your fluid intake as well.

Many, if not most adults today are overweight or clinically obese. Of course, everybody has a different idea of what it means to be overweight. But if you would like to lose just a couple of pounds, or even a hundred pounds or more, this article is for you.
Most nutritionists agree the best way to lose weight, and keep it off, is to simply eat less, and exercise more. If that seems so blatantly obvious, why are so many people overweight?
One possible explanation may be that people see losing weight as a one-time task, rather than a lifestyle change. If you don't change your lifestyle, you aren't likely to keep off any weight that you might lose.
So it would seem that the best way would be to make a good diet and exercise plan part of your daily routine. This is easiest when they are introduced slowly, so they can become automatic.
Sure, it would be great to lose fifty pounds in two days, but is that possible, or even healthy? Probably not. The secret is to go slowly. Instead of shooting for fifty pounds in one week, try for ten pounds in a few months.

Are you overweight? Do you struggle when you button your pants every morning? Don't worry, you are in good company. Most of adult Americans today are overweight, or have some kind of weight problem.
Not to mention all the other health problems that come along with being overweight. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a host other problems which can be directly related to weight issues.
Is there a reason for this? Were we always so fat? The simple answer is no. A hundred years ago, even fifty years ago, most people were thin and healthy. So what happened?
The first is lifestyle difference. People back then had to work a physically difficult job. Only people that were extremely lucky got jobs where they could sit around all day like most of us do today. People back then really worked up a sweat, every day, for eight hours a day.
If most of us are lucky, and are blessed with superhuman motivation, we go to the gym once or twice a week. The rest of us get little, if any, exercise.
