In part one of this series, titled "Take Back Your Life"; we discussed the importance of proper cell function as it relates to wellness. Here in part 2, we will discuss why it is important to feed the organs of your endocrine system to further insure and maintain a state of wellness and optimum health.
Having a well-balanced endocrine system is essential for the achievement of wellness and the attainment of optimum health. The glands of your endocrine system need to be fed the proper raw materials that will support their necessary functions. A hormonal balance is possible with the appropriate endocrine support. When the proper nutrients are provided in the diet, then a well balanced hormonal balance is achieved which will work with the body’s immune system, help support the efficient metabolism of fat, and support natural recovery from physical and emotional stress. The nutrients that are necessary are wild yam extract, amino acids and beta sitosterol. In reality, if you want to lose weight (besides liposuction) there is only one way to do it - that is to burn more calories than you consume. If you are trying to lose weight and have not been successful you maybe making these weight loss mistakes:
1. Starvation: If when you decide to lose weight you stop eating or eat very little those first pounds you lose are muscle and water. So, when you begin to eat again (and you will because you can’t continue like that) you will have less lean muscle mass (muscle burns calories) and you will gain faster. You will actually become fatter ? you will have more fat than you had before you started the diet.

For most people I see in the gym, the bench press has become more about building an ego than building a quality set of pecs. Rather than worry about how much you can lift, you need to focus your attention on how fully you can train and fatigue the pecs themselves (rather than the arms, shoulders, back, quads, etc.)
Here’s an oldie but a goodie to help get you to isolate your pecs on the flat bench press. It’s a simple technique that can really make a difference in how fully and intensely you’re able to hit the pecs:
Sit upright with perfect posture on the end of a flat bench. Roll your shoulders back and down slightly-almost as if you’re pushing your shoulder blades towards each other. Hold this position as you lay back on the flat bench.
With a shoulder’s width grip and your elbows in, maintain this position throughout the bench press. It may feel awkward at first and you won’t be able to lift as much weight as you’re used to, but you’ll hit your pecs hard and you’ll feel the pump.

Following that advice will not only ward off disease, but also lead to greater energy and vitality, and best of all, weight loss. How we came to ignore these positive factors in our daily lives, I don’t know.
In our society, we have a tendency to put off what is most healthy because we think it is inconvenient. When we get sick and can’t perform our “more important” jobs, then we make the decision to do what is best for the body. If we took these simple pieces of advice in our regular routines, we would be sick fewer days. So for those who think their work is more important than their health… if you take care of your health first, you’ll be able to work longer and take fewer sick days, so you’ll accomplish more work!

No commentsSome people say to themselves, junk food is not that bad. If you want to believe this than good luck. Remember how important your beliefs are and especially the ones that are faulty that you still believe. It goes back to what I said earlier. If you want to build a slim, toned and healthy body you need the right building blocks. Those building blocks are not found in junk food of any kind. I do not care how fat free or enriched it is, how many added vitamins and minerals there are, how low carb or “healthy” the manufactures try to make you believe it is. Junk food is junk.
The old expression ‘you are what you eat’ is so true. If you believe the junk food is not that bad for you I really do take pity on you. Because no matter how much other stuff you do from this book, you will become less healthy, more overweight and have more and more aches, pains, symptoms and diseases. The bottom line is really that Junk food is Junk.

When we lose our connection to God, to ourselves, then we get off track. The answer is very simple! Spend time with yourself each day and focus on you.
Do you make excuses why you can’t spend time with yourself? Do you come up with all sorts of reasons why you couldn’t do it?
Take some time right now and write down the excuses you generally use when you don’t focus on you? Example: I couldn’t exercise because I had to do the laundry. Just name everything you use as an excuse. If you have weight issues, I guarantee the list will be long.
God created you as the most awesome person in the Universe and spending time with yourself would please Him. He wants you to feel that joy and love of yourself. One way to spend time with yourself is being thankful.

Of course it’s true, and about as useful as telling an alcoholic he can beat his problem by not drinking. Yeah, right.
Have you noticed that almost every diet is guaranteed to work if you follow it? Of course, it’s your fault if you don’t do what they say, right? What a bunch of nonsense. If you can’t stick to a diet, then it doesn’t work - not for you, anyhow, and what’s the difference if it works for others?

Don’t let someone sit there biting their nails for the fortieth year in a row tell you it’s willpower you need. Of course it would be wonderful if you could force yourself to do whatever you decided to do. The truth, however, is that we each have our areas of difficulty, and our ways of operating. No one but you can judge just how hard you actually are trying, or even what you need to do.
