Death, Aging, Rejuvenation (Part 2)

Death

Death. Why it happens? Why do we die? Why do animals die? Why do plants die? What is the need of this? In my opinion mechanism of death was selected during Evolution.

From the position of Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection everything, that benefits survival of species and gives advantage in Natural Selection, is preserved in following generations.

Improvements were often left unchanged from the moment of life appearance. Though there could be other ways, certain mechanisms were accidentally selected. These improvements are reproduced in the genome of more complex species. Billions of years ago, according to the theory of evolution, chemicals randomly organized themselves into a self-replicating molecule.

Lightings and UV-radiation helped to create first organic molecules. This phenomenon is reproducible in a lab. The experiments were described in 1950-60.

First self-replicating molecules were probably RNA. First enzymes were probably RNA - enzymes. Then proteins, DNA and more complex lipid molecules and polysaccharide came to the scene.

Death as it is did not exist at the stage of Primeval Soup . Sure some organic molecules were destroyed , some new created. But in general it was still that swirling and bubbling primary broth - quasi alive in our understanding as a mixture of biochemical reactions.

Can Vitamin E Cure Almost Everything?

Vitamin E is an absolutely vital nutrient in your body, but it probably can’t do half the things you heard it can.

What does vitamin E do? To begin, it is an antioxidant. It tames dangerous free radicals and helps prevent blood clots and blockages in coronary arteries. Research points to its ability to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, such as heart attacks and some cancers.

Vitamin E is also believed to slow the aging process and to help nerve conduction. Most importantly, it works to enhance and even protect vitamin C and Vitamin A.

There is also promising research that vitamin E might help prevent or slow the onset of cataracts in the eyes.

Vitamin E has been touted as a cure for just about everything but a broken heart. I am sure that’s coming, though. Here are just a few of the diseases and conditions vitamin E has been credited with curing or preventing:

  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Infertility in both men and women
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Hepatitis
  • eye tissue inflammation
  • fibromylagia
  • hair loss
  • PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome)
  • heavy menstruation
  • healing wounds
  • diabetes
  • atherosclerosis
  • menopause
  • osteoarthritis
  • even restless leg syndrome!

It might well prove that vitamin is helpful in some of these and other conditions, but probably not in many or even most of them.

How to Break a Weight Loss Plateau

Healthy eating has become part of your life, but you’re still 10 or less pounds short of your goal weight. Don’t worry. This happens to most people. It may be that your body likes the weight you are at and does not want to give up anymore fat. Every "body" has a set point. You can change this if you really are adamant about reaching your original goal weight.

Here are lists of things to change that will jumpstart your weight loss again:

1. Make changes to your weight training routine. If you have been doing a full body workout you should switch to a split routine. Do your upper body one day and your lower body on your next weight training day or work your muscles in groups (ex: Day 1 ? Legs / Day 2 ? Chest & Triceps / Day 3 ? Back, Shoulders & Biceps)

2. Change the type of exercises you are doing for each body part. For instance, if you have been doing the Seated Chest Press and Pec Deck for your chest, switch to a Flat Bench Press and Dumbbell Flyes. You will actually see better results if you use free weights instead of machines.

6 Things A Norwegian Fable Teaches Us About Healthy Perseverance Part 1

Author, H. Besser, in his book, “Perseverance: How To Develop It,” shares a Norwegian fable about a man who left his hometown to rejoin his fiancée. They were to get married when he arrived.

On the way he chose to take a different route because the direct route to his fiancée was boring and lacked adventure. Eventually, the man forgot about his original objective of meeting his fiancée and spent years on a journey to “no where.” More years passed before he realized how far he was off of his original path.

As he retraced his steps to get back, his fiancée stopped waiting and married another. By the time the man reached his original destination, he was much older, alone and poor and had nothing to show for his long journey.

Here are 6 things you and I can learn about perseverance from the man in the Norwegian fable:

Beating Your Neck, Back and Shoulder Pain

Suffering from neck, back and shoulder pain? If you are, you’re in good company. Millions of people wake up every morning and endure every day experiencing pain in their necks, backs and shoulders. While neck, back and shoulder pain used to be thought of as conditions affecting only adults, due to more parents scheduling routine doctors visits for their kids, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that children and teenagers are also suffering from the symptoms. So if it’s not age that causes this severe discomfort, what is it? Believe it or not, the culprit may be your sleep habits and the position you sleep in.

Each and everyday, you are putting stress on your spine, which directly impacts the tension in your neck, shoulders and back. Even simple, everyday tasks like sitting at a desk, driving, and bending over can contribute to wear on these sensitive parts of your body. Your sleep time is supposed to be the time of day when these areas of your body are allowed to relax and regenerate. However, if your neck isn’t properly supported while you’re sleeping, your body doesn’t have a chance to recover from the stress it endured throughout the day. Improper neck support while sleeping can cause increasingly severe neck, back and shoulder pain over the years, to a point where it becomes unbearable.

Supersizing America

For some of us, food is warmth and love. We associate it with home and childhood: tempting smells that greeted us after school on a cold December afternoon. The kitchen served as the center of the house under the kindly direction of the Captain in the apron. If we were good, we might be allowed to stir the pot. If we were very good, we got to clean out the mixing bowl.

As we grew up, we found wonders elsewhere: the coffee shops and diners where adolescents gathered and food was only a platform for the real business of talking, bonding, and flirting. We drank cola and root beer and discovered sundaes, pizza and french fries. But real food was what we ate at home.

Later, we moved on to the pale imitation of food represented by college cafeterias and underground cafes that were heavy on music and political rebellion and light on the menu. We returned home for the holidays and again ate real food, as good as we remembered. Some of us moved on to the non-food of C rations and swore we’d never enjoy eating again.

Enough Already! Stop Coming Up With New Weight Loss Programs…

Great weight loss techniques are completely worthless.

That’s a true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great weight loss techniques are a scam on oneself.

That’s also a true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great weight loss techniques NEVER make you thin, lean, healthy, or sexy!

Also a true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great weight loss techniques waste your time, and get you really frustrated..

Again, a true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great weight loss techniques almost ruined my life and my business.

I stopped it - As soon as I saw this horrifying trend in the industry years ago, I stopped testing our new technique after new technique on my clients.

You might think that makes me sound like a quitter - but let me explain how this simple ’step back’ allowed my clients to all take 10 steps forward towards their goals.

I define Information Overload as: A condition whereby weight loss techniques come to you in such abundance that you have trouble keeping up with all of them.

Foam Pillows are Changing the way the World Sleeps

For countless people worldwide, getting a good night’s sleep on a regular basis is an elusive, if not almost impossible, goal. The causes for this malady are numerous, and could consist of overwork, stress, pain, a sleep disorder, and the list goes on. While some people may require a physician’s assistance in developing a normal sleep pattern, many Americans have found great benefit by merely changing one or more of their bedding products.

Of all the different pillows available, memory foam pillows are becoming increasingly popular. The reason for this is simple; these pillows have time and time again been proven to work miracles. Memory foam pillows are attributed for helping in the reduction of snoring, which increases sleep quality not only for the individual suffering from the condition, but for others who have to sleep in the vicinity. In addition, memory foam pillows have also been proven effective because they carefully align the body correctly in order for the sleeper to gain a quality sleep and dream pattern.

Death, Aging, Rejuvenation (Part 3)

Aging

How did aging appeared?

If mechanism of Death was chosen by evolution, how was aging chosen?

Why for example at certain age animals do not die instantly and just give the room for the next generation. Nurturing is one explanation at least for human society.

But lets say new generation of young adults already reached puberty . Why would not old generation die in an instant. Why do they age?

Actually there is nothing impossible. Some butterflies grow couple years, mate, produce new generation and die in one day. Some plants live 1 year, some live 2 years and then invariably die. Some live 1000 years. Lemmings, having overgrowth of population, just go and massively commit suicide in the sea. No questioned asked.

Why aging in other animals take several years?

It might be selected by cut-throat evolution during another catastrophe.

A relatively mild Cataclysm happened in the same time when all adults died programmed to do so. Older animals would survive the disaster. But they died instantly from internal timer. Younger generation did not tolerate the mishap.

Winter Weight Loss Magic

If winter hibernation tends to pack on the pounds, take heart. There are some simple steps you can take this winter to prevent yourself from gaining weight. Even though it’s a "natural" process to put on weight during the winter, it’s not all that pleasant. So check out these simple steps to winter weight loss magic:

>>>> WEAR RED: The color red is pure fire energy and it will literally melt fat. Add red to your wardrobe. For great weight loss while you sleep, wear red bicycle pants to bed (if you have weight around your belly and butt) or red pajamas. If you start to get too hot or a racing pulse, just wear red during the day.

>>>> DOWSE: You can use your pendulum to get rid of fat by swinging it clockwise with the intention of removing the negative thought forms from your body that cause fat. Keep swinging until it stops.

>>>> BLESS YOUR FOOD: Before you put anything in your mouth, bless it. Thank the beings who have made your food possible, and ask that the food to be raised to its highest vibration. Ask that your body retain only what it necessary for you to stay at your ideal weight. You can even hire an angel to increase the power of your intention!
